Dining and Meal Information

At Riverwind, we believe that sociable mealtimes and nutritious foods are important means of maintaining health and vibrancy in the aging years. Meals and snacks are prepared fresh daily in our large, completely open kitchen. Residents can observe food preparation and often enjoy interacting with the staff while meals are being prepared.

Our full-time experienced cooks prepare delicious, nutritious meals and snacks which are available for residents at anytime. We are also happy to accommodate residents' families and friends at mealtime (for a nominal fee).

Activities at Riverwind Senior Assisted Living

Activities are scheduled on a daily basis throughout the day and are overseen and presented by Riverwind's full time activities coordinator. Some of the activities you'll find on the weekly activity calendar include, but are not limited to, exercise sessions, current events, holiday celebrations, outings 2-3 times per week, reminisce hour, various games enjoyed by the elderly population, travel logs, movies, musical entertainment, speakers, social events and one-to-one sessions.
